The ASN Index (ASNI) has been a project waiting in the wings and developing for almost seven or eight months now. This is a direction that many of the true major players in the sports broadcast world are taking and I believe that the ASN should be able to go in a similar direction. Analytics and data go beyond just passing and rushing yards now. It can predict and dictate athletes’ tendencies and help coaching staffs gain the edge they need to win. And now the Antler Sports Network has taken a massive step into the data and analytics world. We’ve collaborated with those with experience in producing rankings in the college football/basketball world, and those who have produced ratings for the sports video games we all know and love. And all that hard work can be showcased to athletes, coaches, and our amazing fans.
The ASN Index takes real statistics along with intangible values and can predict scores of games, generate ratings on both sides of the ball, and help the coaches we back to be able to better will their teams to victory.
Viewers and coaches will get their first taste of the ASNI on Saturday, October 5th as the Texas Wesleyan Rams host the Buffaloes of Arkansas Baptist on ASN2. The broadcast will not only showcase the variables we use, but also show their results! We here at the ASN are excited about this new opportunity as we continue to make our broadcasts better for not only viewers, but for the men and women who work hard on and off the field to make their dreams come true.
