Oklahoma City – Reagan Davis of Wayland Baptist and Avery Schneringer of Mid-America Christian earned this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Softball Players of the Week honors for the second consecutive week following their efforts during the period that ended on March 24, 2024, as announced by the conference office Monday Morning.
Davis moved to the leadoff spot in the Evangels batting order and proceeded to scatter 12 hits in 19 at-bats for an average of .632 while having a .895 slugging percentage over the four victories over Panhandle State. Davis drove in five runs while scoring eight times and had three extra-base hits for the week.

Schneringer is the only pitcher in the NAIA to pitch a complete game shutout against No. 4 Science & Arts, tossing seven innings of four-hit ball with two walks and three strikeouts in leading the Evangels to a 2-0 victory and forcing a 2-2 series split against the Drovers. Overall, Schneringer allowed just one earned run in 8.1 innings of work for the weekend.
